THAMES GIRLS' CLUB
At tlie Druids' Hall. Xewton. tlie president. Mrs. H. Stubbing, assisted by Mrs. A. Bowyer and Miss K. MacLeod, vice-presidents, welcomed a large gathering of members and friends of the Thames Girls' Club (Inc.).
An interesting lecture on "Forgotten Empires," illustrated with picture slides, was given by Elder K. E. Crandal! and Elder Peterson. Enjoyable items were given by Miss Kona Allenburough, Miss Jean Porteous, Mrs. L. Snowling, Miss Clarice Lawry and Master .Tackie Herivel. Competitions were won by Miss Mary Xorris and Mr. Reiken.
