The Prime Minister, M. Daladier, has announced his new War Cabinet. He will himself assume the portfolio of Foreign Minister and will be ussisted by two under-secretaries. This will result in the transfer of M. Bonnet.
Other notable changes include the elimination of tho Ministry of National Economy and the creation of three new portfolios—Ministries of Blockade, Armaments and Merchant Marine.
following are details of the now Cabinet:— Prlmo Minister, Minister of Defence, War and Foroign Affairg.—M! Daladier. Under-Secretary of Defence and War. M. Dtioos. Under-Secretary of Foreign Affairs.—M. Deribcs. Blockade.—M. Fernot. .lustice.—M. Bonnet. Education.—M. Delbos. Pensions.—M. Bease. Merchant Marine.—M. Rio. Armaments.—M. Dmitry (tho only nonParliamentarian). Tho Ministers of State, Interior, Navy, Agriculture, Colonies, Commerce, Finance, Transport, Health, Labour and Public Works are unchanged. M. Coulondre, former Ambassador to Berlin, becomes diplomatic director to tho Cabinet.
