GERMANO-RUSSIAN PACT.
It should be borne in mind that von Ribbentrop flew to Moscow and went cap in hand to the Kremlin to negotiate the Hitler-Sta-lin pact, which, by the way, is not inconsistent with Russia's policy of peace and trade with other countries. Xow the chiefs of the Kremlin can sit back in a spirit of cynical optimism while the capitalist Powers involved in this struggle proceed with the job of '"liquidating" one another. And it is even conceivable that Russia will sell to the belligerents the wherewithal to speed the work. R. K. ROWLANDS.
