MILK LICENSES.
RENEWAL REQUIRED.
At a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council to-day, it was decided that all holders of licenses, except dairymen, be requested to apply for a renewal of their lieenses for the period from October 1 to March 31, 1940.
It was also resolved to authorise the issue of licenses for the sale of cream in cartons to fruit shops, which complied with the conditions laid down by the council.
The chairman, Mr. I. J. Holdstine, commented that it was the first time the latter resolution had gone through without a discussion.
