In "J he Man in the Iron Mask" young -Louis Hay ward getg his big chance. Hay\\aids work in the past few months has been highly impressive, and this opportunity is tully deserved. He plays a dual role appearing both as King Louis XIV p, ;i, ' e T and n aa his . twin brother Fhillippe. Joan Bennett is seen as the beautnul Spanish princess Maria Theresa =>», 1 m° r ir begins i vlth the birth <> f Louis and Philhppe. Quickly Phillippe is whisked away, destined to lead the life of a commoner, -under the guidance of the I tanicus Musketeers. He grows up; Loui? hnds out of the relationship. Fearful of a coup to depose him in favour of his I brother, he formulates a terrible plan or ! incarceration. j i But that is not good enough for the. valiant Musketeers, and there is excite-' I ment and forceful drama before thev ; achieve their purpose of freeing their pro- ' rr" sadistic brother's scheming, i Warren William's portrayal of D'Artagnan is brilliant, and others who perform j equally well are Alan Hale, Miles Mander and Joseph Schildkraut.
