(j—3. Grant hitherto had boasted that he had an unbeaten record against any Australian player. Other results:— Men's Singles.—Gilbert Hunt beat F. A. Parker (i—l, (j—l, 6—l; Van Horn beat E. T. EDEN AND EPSOM CLUB,
At the annual meeting of the Eden and Epsom Lawn Tennis Cluib the president. Mr. A. K. Turner, extended congratulations on its fine record last season in winning the senior inter-club competition. The club thus became the hokler of the Caro Cup for the second year In succession, and also won the second grade competition. Officers elected :—President, Mr. I*. E. Potter ; vice-presidents. W. Y.M.I. CLUB,
At the annual meeting of the W.Y.M.I. Tennis Club the report recorded a successful season, teams winning the A and B grade Churches Tennis Association's championships. Teams this season are to be entered in the Auckland Hard Court and Churches tennis associations competitions. Officers for the ensuing year President. Rev. E. T. Olds: captain, Mr. W. H.
