WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist •. t issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— The recent deep depression is now centred beyond Chatham Islands. An I, anti-cyclone over Australia extends on to the north Tasman Sea. L . Strong south-westerly winds, weather cool and changeable with passing showers. Seas rough but moderating on east coast. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon ' to-day:— > r, Wind, south-west, strong; sea, rough; weather, cloudy with rain squalls; visibility, fair; barometer, rising.
