"' -Mr. C. G. Herdnian. chairman, in his review of the activities, spoke of tile vast amouut of work that had been done by the outgoing committee in preparation for the Centennial regatta. He expressed the opinion that these activities would .probably be abandoned on account of tin» outbreak of war. In view of the develiouieut of eight-oared rowing the West End Club considered that the association should consider the holding of more junior eight-oar races and to add. it possible ;ijnj if necessary, a welterweight junior eight-oar raw. The motion was earned.
