INJURED IN FARM FIRE.
A mother and her two sons suffered minor burns when a large 12-roomed : m house, about five miles from Whangaroi, wan destroyed hv fire on Saturday night. They were Mrs. A. C. Syines and her sons, Harvey and lan Symes. I hey were sitting in a front room after dinner when a noise in the kitchen attracted their attention. Thev found the hot water cylinder cupboard and the wall around it ablaze. The flames spread quickly and all they could do was to save a few personal* belongings. They were burned while attempting to fight tho flames, but were then able to go to a neighbour's house for the night.
