The Poles pushed a powerful force of infantry and cavalry across the western border due west of Gdynia. Berlin announces a report from Hitler's headquarters on the eastern front that the Fuehrer made a tour of 155 miles through former Polish territory. The Berlin correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says it was officially announced that up to 9 a.m. not a single shot had been fired on the western front.
