MR. C. P. M. BUTTERWORTH.

The death has oceurred of Mr. Charles Percv M. Butterwortli. >>>11 of the founder of the (11*111 <>f Bros.. Ltd.. who carried 011 business as warehousemen for many years. Born at Dunedin in Mr. Butterwortli was educated at Cheltenham College, England, and was brought up to the softgoods trade in the London office of the firm, and also in Dunedin.
In 1801, 011 the death of his father, he became managing director of the company. In his younger days he took a keen interest in sport, especially athletics. rowing and golf. He was very well known in business circles throughout the Dominion. .
