OFFICIAL WELCOME TO N.Z.
AMERICAN PHYSICIST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An official welcome was tendered at Parliament Building this morning to Dr. R. A. Millikan. the distinguished American physicist, who is visiting New Zealand in the course of an investigation into the problem of cosmic rays. The Minister in charge of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, ofticially welcomed Dr. Millikan, the welcome being endorsed by the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. A. Hamilton.
