TABLE TENNIS N.Z. Beats N.S.W. In Singles A PRESS Association message from Sydney states that, despite just having landed from a rough voyage, the New Zealand table tennis players in their first games last night defeated New South Wales in the singles by six rubbers to two. H. F. Boys (Auckland) and R. A. Algie (Dunedin, present Dominion champion) were the outstanding players. The other two New Zealanders were K. G. Cantlay (Auckland) and E. Boniface (Wellington). The scores in the doubles rubbers are not available, but in the whole match New Zealand won 23 games to New South Wales'
