WRESTLING.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIJs, Monday. _Before a packed house Rube Wright, 17st 101b, made his first appearance to New Zealand wrestling enthusiasts this evening, and they saw him beaten on points by Earl McCready in perhaps the hardest match in Dunedin this season. The American is bigger and stronger even than McCready and showed himself an adept at chancery holds and head scissors. He wrestles tightly and is rough in bis holds and kept McCready working his hardest over the whole distance. There were no falls, both men using their tremendous strength on occasions to fight their way out of difficulties.
