SCHOOL COMMITTEES
DOMINION CONFERENCE. FIRST IN AUCKLAND. Forty delegates from all parts 01 ICew Zealand are expectcd to attend the Dominion Federation of School Committees Associations' conference, which will open in the municipal chamber at the Auckland Town TTall on September 4, and extend over four days. It will be the .sixth annual conference to be held in the Dominion, and the first in Auckland. The lan conference was held at Christchurch.
The federation prc.-id' lit. Mr. \Y. H. lortune. of Auckland, wili preside, and about fifty remits, dealing generally with educational unit If:-. will be diwu-sscd.

On the final d«.v of the conference, the visitors will attend a lunch at the Kowhai Intermediate School The lunch will be prepared and served by the pupils.
