OFFICERS ELECTED.
AUCKLAND GERMAN CLUB
The seventh annual mcetina of t'he German Cltiib (Auckland) was held in the club roams on Thursday. The president. Sir. J. Blumhaidt, conjrrofuiated the club on the protrrcwK made during the year and on t'he particularly friendly relations which existed between the British and German members. He also thanked the officers and members for Uheir support, and particularly emphasised the valuable work done by the women.
Mr. W. J. McMillan was elected an honorary life member of t'lio club.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: President, Mr. .J. Blumhardt; vice-presidents. Messrs. M. Grapenpienser, W. .T, McMillan: secretary ; Mr. Gregor Riethmaij.'; treasurer. Mr. K. \\ . Schmidt: librtftlan, Mr. G. Bel in; coinmifctee, Messrs. H. O. Haiien. L. .Vberle and Mesda.mes G. Williams, Xolan: emergency committee. Messrs. A. 1!. Leuschke. F. B. Woodhead, F. V. Donovan: auditor. Mr. F. V. Donovan.
After the .business iras concluded supper wae served, anil a social hour followed.
