TOUR OF UNION.
SOUTH AFRICAN PLAN. ATHLETES AND CYCLISTS. (By Tclejrraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The secretary of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has received a letter from the South African Association that it is considering inviting teams of athletes and cyclists to tour the Union in 1941 from Groat Britain, Australia. Canada and New Zealand. There would be five and not more than eight matches, of which at least two would be Tests.
All expense* from the point of assembly to the time the teams return will be met by tlie South African Association, and the team would comprise from eight to ten members. The letter will be considered by the council early next month.
