DOORS AND WINDOWS.
(Sent In by Mary King, Te Aroha, aged 15.) I love to see an open door, All ready for a visitor, And not shut fjist, as if to say, "You really can't come in to-day." I also love to see at night, Uncurtained panes and lamps alight, As if the folks within would share, Their homes with people passing there. For those inside can never dream, How different a house may seem, Aloof or friendly, to the eye, /Of anybody passing by.
