Sowing Celery
JjX)R the earliest rows of celery, seed of a reliable white variety should be sown now. Fill the required number of boxes- with fine aoil and sow thinly; celery is one of the plants that are invariably sown much too thickly, and the only result is the early damping off of the seedlings. Cover the seed very lightly and place in a temperature of 55 to 60 degrees. A sheet of glass placed over each box will prevent the too rapid escape of moisture.
