Wanted To Kiss A Star
A COLLEGE freshman had to go to Hollywood to get his ambition kissing a movie star. But perhaps that's not news. The kiss lasted five and threetenth seconds. That is! illiani Holden is the name of the 21-year-old youngster. He kissed Barbara Stanwyck (Robert Taylor's worldenvied bride) in ''Golden Bov," which Roubeti Ma motilicn is directing. oung Holden was fullv prepared for his first screen kiss. He arrived at the studio early, ind particular care was taken with his make-up for the cameras. Aft y a final check-up by the make-up artisf, he was pronounced perfect for the cameras and close-up scene with Miss Stanwvck.
Against the modernistic background of New fork's skyline, looking down from the top of the Empire State building. the romantic sequence took place between Golden Boy and Lorna Moon, the character played by Miss Stanwyck. "Golden Boy" is the screen version of Clifford Odets' stage success. Adolplie Menjou plays the role of the famous sports figure, Tom Moody.
