LORD GALWAY'S RETURN

After completing his first tour of inspection to the South Pacific islands under New Zealand jurisdiction, the Governor-General, Lord- Galway, accompanied by Lady Galway, will return tomorrow in H.M.S. Achilles, which is expected to r berth at the Devonport Naval Base at 0 a.m. Lord and Lady Galway will later be brought to the city by ndval barge. Since he left Auckland on July 6, Lord G«lw«jr I)*t visited Rai'otonga, Mangaia, Mijukc, Atiu, Aitutuki, Penrliyn, Rakehunga, Manahiki, Danger Island, Fakaofu, Nukunono and Atafu, from there proceeding to Samoa and after that calling at Suva, Nukualofa and Niue. He has thus landed at other islands under direct British control, in addUfon to those administered by New Zealftitd. The Governor-General also visited the American nav»l station at Pager Pago.
