LABOUR'S UNITY.

'By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Accusing the Opposition of the desire to see the Government split into a Left Wing and Right Wing, Mr. W. T. Anderton (Government, Eden) declared in the House of Representatives last night that Labour was more united to-day than ever before. Its object was to serve the people in a scientific and economic way. The knowledge of the people had advanced in the last f ew years because the people had conscious intelligence of the difference between the economic policy pursued by the Labour Government and the economic policies of Governments that had preceded it. Although the employment market was in a parlous plight when Labour was returned to office, the Government had eliminated unemployment in spite of what the Opposition said to the contrary.
