CHOCOLATE DELIGHTS.

A quarter cupful of sugar, half cupful butter, two tablespoonfuls melted chocolate, one teaspoonful vanilla, one egg, one cupful flour, quarter cupful milk, quarter teaspoonful bicarbonate of soda, half cupful chopped raisins, quarter cupful chopped walnuts. Cream the butter and sugar, add the melted chocolate, vanilla and egg, well beaten. Then add alternately the flour and milk, into which the bicarbonate of soda has been stirred. Flour the raisins well and mix them in with the walnuts. Drop on to greased oven tray and cook in a moderate ove» about 20 minutes.
