PILOT SURVIVES.
Five Deaths In Crash Of British Air Liner.
M.P. AMONG- THE KILLED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, August 15. A British Airways liner, en route to Hamburg, crashed ablaze into the waters of Storstroemmen. Four passengers and one were killed. The pilot was the only survivor. He said the 'plane took fire in mid-air and he had no choice but to alight, whereupon the machine overturned and sank.
Those killed included Mr. A. C. Crossley, M.P. (Cou., Stretford), who was going to Sweden for a month's fishing.
