DOING GOOD WORK.
TRIBUTE TO MINISTER. (From Onr Correspondent.) HAMILTON", Tuesday. "I wish to pay a tribute to tho Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, although I may not agree with his politics, on the very good work he has done and is doing in promoting the interests of agriculture," said Mr. A. Hayward, Xgarira, at a conference of committee conveners associated with the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., to-day.
Mr. Hayward described tlie establishment of a research station at Ruakura and the excellent organisation that was 'being formed there for investigation into animal diseases. The Government, he added, -was making funds available for the erection of laboratories, and the facial eczema investigation committee had received all the financial help it required to carry on the -work it had undertaken.
