"This is a particularly bad case, and I had thought of sending you to prison," said .Mr. W. Ff. Freeman, S.M., in the Mflgixtrate's Court this morning, when convicting and fining William Hodgson, of Ngatea, £20 on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor e*r, and cancelling hie license for 12 months. Hodgson, who appeared on remand, was represented by Mr. F. E. Hammond, who entered a plea of guilty.
