Mr. J. J. Kingston left for Wellington, by the early express this afternoon. Mr. C. W. Re id left last evening for ellington l>y the Limited express. r .- -W. Duff was a passenger from Wellington by this morning's Limited express. R. G. Milligan left yesterday afternoon by the early express for Wellington. Mr. O. X. Under-Secretary for Affairs, left last evening for V\ ellington by the Limited express. Mr. J. Barr, City Librarian, and Mr. R. O. Gross, returned from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. The Hon. E. R. Davis, M.L.C., and Mrs. Davis will arrive in Wellington on September 8 by the Dominion Monarch from England. Mr. Owen Jones, of New Zealand forest Productions, Ltd., returned to Auckland in the Wanganella this morning after a visit to Australia. Mr. R. H. Bartley,' general manager of the Auckland Electric Power Board, »'ill be a passenger for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Mr. W. L. Wilson, superintendent of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Brigade, left by train for Wellington yesterday to attend a conference of the New Zealand branch of the Institute of Fire Engineers of Great Britain.
