ROOM RENTS.
"Another Victim" writes a very weird description of an eight-roomed house where rooms are let at £1 per week. I am afraid "Another Vi-ctim" allows his imagination to run riot in "making these unkind accusations. Anyone familiar with an apartment or" the ordinary house would know that every room is not likely to be a double one. Therefore, fl per room would not be the rental received. Another thing overlooked is that when rooms, either single or double, are let, the use of all conveniences is included in the rent, such as bathroom, washhouse, laundry, etc. When drains or sinks become blocked it is always caused through the carelessness of the tenants. One consolation to "Another Victim" is the option to seek fresh fields and pastures new. Someone else might be happy and grateful for a comfortable apartment at the same rental. CHEERFUL SUB-TEXAXT.
