SOCCER FIXTURES.

THIS WEEK'S CONTESTS.

ENGLISH TROPHY CHALLENGE.

WELLINGTON HERE AGAIN.

For the second time this season the Wellington representative Soccer eleven will be seen at Blandford Park, in another attempt to capture the English trophy. On July 15 Auckland beat the southerners 3 —2. The winner of Saturday's match is to meet Canterbury in September. Of course, Auckland has the draw in, and if the scores are level in this week's match Canterbury would have to come here.

A Press Association message from Wellington states that two more changes have been made in the Wellington team. McCarthy and Walker, of the Waterside Club, have notified the selectors that they will not be available. N. Edmunds (Seatoun) and J. Baker (Swifts) will take their places at right wing and inside-right respectively.
