A sin«ll quantity of varnish was lestroyed by fire at Shields Product*, -united, 8!>. Cook Street. City, shortly nt'ter nine o'clock this morning. The fire was caused by some varnish, which was being heated in a container, catching alight. Two engines from the Central Station attended.
