I Good class horses who are engaged in the important spring events were galloped at the Rosebery meeting yesterday, and provided one of the highlights of the afternoon. High Caste, Malagigi and Respirator kept together over nve furlongs, run in 1.3%. The pace was on for the last two furlongs, which took 255. High Caste, finishing slightly ahead of Malagigi, was travelling best of the three. Cold Rod and Spefir Chief took 1.4 for five futlongs. the former going very easily. Reading covered half a mile in 52Vis. the last three furlongs in 37%5. Defaulter is doing hard work at Randwick.
