£227 COMPENSATION.
JURY AWARDS DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Damages totalling £227 were awarded by a jury to Lily Gillies Counop at the Napier Supreme Court yesterday in a claim for compensation against Dorothy Gladys Roberts, for injuries received in a motor smash near Waipawa, in May, 1935. The hearing extended over two full day*, and the jury retired for over three hours before reaching a decision.
