ULSTER ASSOCIATION.

SOCIAL EVENING. The montTily meeting of the Ulster Association was held in the Fabfan rooms. Queen Street, recently. Mr. D. K. Duncan, president, presided.

Mr. Burnett, who was in charge of the evening's arrangements, introduced Mr. W. Calder Maokay, who presented a most entertaining programme c>f cinematograph film*. Mr. Mackay gave a running comment on each lilm >hown. Mr. Burnett proposed a \ote of thanks t<> Mr. Mackay, this being carried by acclamation.

Supper, followed by a >horf. period of dancing, concluded the evening.

Among the visitors present were: Mr. L. Harvey, president of Devon and Cornish Society, and Mrs. Iltirvry; Mr. 11. (i. Staley. president Yorkshire Society, and Mrs- Staley; Mr. Frank Broad, president of Gloucester and Somerset Society, and Mrs. Broad; Mr. Leo O'Mallev, president of Irish National Society, and Mrs. O'Mallev; Mr. W. Baker, adviser to Auckland Provincial Centennial Council; Rev. J. A. D. Spence and members of session Knox Presbyterian Church; Mrs. W. Calder Mackay, Mrs. R. Laidlaw, se.i., Mr. and Mrs- V. H. Brooks*Tuid Mr. R. Martin, Mavor of Xorthcote.

Musical items were supplied ,-t intervals by Miss Molly Holding and Mr. ■J- McDonald. The accompanist was Mr-. A. fiainey.
