VISIT TO WORLD FAIR.
Australian Cruiser's Men To Parade Unarmed. RULING TO AVOID OFFENCE. (Received 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, August 7. Washington has requested the contingent from the Australian cruiser Perth parading at the World's Fair 011 Friday, Australia Day, to be unarmed. The ruling was made so as not to risk offending the other nations participating in the Fair. The British block, of which the Australian pavilion is part, adjoins the Italian building. The men will wear the white uniforms which caused the incident yesterday.
