ORPHANS CLUB.
The president, Mr. C. D. Donovan, and the executive of the Thames Orphans Club were the official guests at the fortnightly gathering of the Auckland Orphans Club in the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday evening. Mr. Kenneth Melvin, the chairman, gave an interesting talk on "The Witchery of Words," and there was an enjoyable programme, which included selections by the orchestra under Mr. T. P. O'Connor.
