KING'S SCHOOL BOXING TOURNAMENT.
The annual boxing tournament of Kings School was held last evening. There was some excellent competition. The prize for the most scientific boxer was won by Hay, winner of the middle-weight division. The champion of the school Moore had a walk over in the heavy-weight class, but Hogan sportingly challenged. He fought gamely for two rounds, but be was not in the eame class as Moore. Following were the results oZ the boute contested last evening:— Feather-weight. — Semi-finals : Morton (School) boat Cass (Marsden) ; CrcssweJl (School) beat Kiemander (School). Final: Morton beat CresswMl. 1 Ughtweight.—Second round : Morton (School) beat Fox (School) ; Dove (Bruce) beat L<udbrook (Selwyn) : W. K. Erson (Bruce) beat Arnold (Selwyn»: Hansard (Marsden) beat Copeland-Sinith (School). Semi-finals: Morton beat I>ove, Erson beat Hansard. Final: Erson beat Morton. Middle-weight.— Semi-finals : D. C. Erson (School) beat Clarke (School) ; Hay (Bruee) beat N. H. Brett (Marsden). Final: Hay beat Erson. Welter-weight. — Semi-finals : Grant (Marsden) beat Brett (Marsden) : Steward (Marsden) won from Steele (Bruce) by default. Final: Steward beat Grant. Cruiser-weight. — Semi-finals : Hughes (School) beat Allen (School); Savage (School) beat Judd (School). Final: Savage beat Hughes. Flyweight.—Final: Wostbury (Selwyn) beat Benjamin (Selwyn). Bantam-weight.—Final: North (Marsden) I beat Britain (Bruce). I Heavy-weight.—Challenge to title-holder: I TV. O. Moore (School) beat Hogan (MarsI den).
