A difficult year, l>ut one that was financially successful, whs reported by Mr. A. P. Postlewaite, business manager, at the annual meeting of the Auckland University Students' Association last evening. He pointed out that the financial success of the year's capping revue, "Bled White." which showed a profit of £2.35, had been lettered by only two other shows in the history of the college. There had been a distinct falling off in the number of students willing to assume responsibility in and devote their time to the administrative side of college activities, he said. He urged all, whether they felt that they had administrative talents or not, to offer themselves for service on the executive. The statement of accounts showed a total loss of £174 on publications. The largest single loss was made on "Cracciim," the college's fortnightly publication, the debit figure b°insr £98. The loss on "Kiwi," the annual production, was £"1. The Capping Book, issued in connection with (lie graduation celebrations, showed a small profit by way of contrast. It was the only publication to do so.

After lengthy discussion, two amendments to the constitution, providing for tli<* granting of representative blues in debating and table tenuis, were passed.
