JULY WEATHER REPORT. The. weather report for last month is in one respect almost iiiiir|iie. It tells of a fall of snow in the city and suburb*. That was last Thuraday. Most people would have considered that tho month «iW exceedingly wet. The rainfall, B:44in, was much above the average, but it was not as great a-s that recorded in July of last year. Furthermore, the Government observer, Mr. S. M. Yallop, reports that there was some sunshine on :S0 da vs.
Kain fell on 20 days. Thunder and lightning wan experienced on four days. while there were frequent heavy falls of hail. Temperature* were lower than usual. The mean for the month was 4!>.4(i decree*, .compared with 51."27 for .lulv last year. The mean barometer reading was 2<).017in.
