EIGHTY YEARS OLD.
THE MANGERE SCHOOL CELEBRATIONS COX TINTJED. Former pupils of the Mangcre School gathered in force (o-day at the school when the 80th anniversary celebrations which began on Thursday night, were continued. Conditions have been wintry but each of the functions lias been well attended. At the conclusion of the opening cere mony on Thursday night, the school be was tolled by Mrs. Martha Johns, age 88 years, who was a foundation pupi A series of tableaux depicting t\ school through its successive generatio; was presented last night in the Mangci public hall by the present pupils. A banquet is to be held 'this evciiin and to-morrow afternoon a specie thanksgiving service will be held at tin school.
