AFTER TWENTY-FIVE YEARS
Ist Canterbury Reunion With the object of renewing old acquaintances and meeting former comrades of the Ist Canterbury Infantry Regiment, Main Body, the Aegean Society is arranging for a dinner and reunion to be held in Christchurch on August 12. The reunion will be held at the Showgrounds where the regiment went into camp and on the exact date, 25 years ago, when the first drafts entered the grounds. The old military atmosphere will be re-created by the mounting of a guard at the gate and a password will be issued to all those who notify the secretary of the Aegean Society that they are coming. The secretary's name is G. W. Burgess, Hallenstein's Buildings, High Street, Christchurch. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
