QUEEN STREET LIGHTING.
m New lamp standards are being erected in Queen Street in connection with a scheme to provide more efficient ligbting in the main business area of the city, the work to include the section between Grey's Avenue and the waterfront. The Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, said that at long last the main street of the city was to be efficiently lighted, and the new installation would be of lamps of the most recent kind.
