U.S. SENATE'S DELAY.
" Nice Little Business Boom Killed." PRESS AOAINST DECISION. (Received 10 a.m.) HYDE PARK (N.Y.), July 21. President Roosevelt, at a Press conference, said the refusal of the Senate to act at this session on the neutrality legislation has killed off a nice little business boom due to the uncertainty created in business circles, and will have an adverse economic effect until next January when Congress reconvenes. The President said the analysis of 45 newspaper editorials throughout the United States showed a widespread demand, regardless of political affiliations, to have something done to make the United States neutral and avert war.
