MR. A. J. McINNARNEY
STAFF PRESENTATIONS.
Fellow employees of Mr. Arthur J. Mclnnarney gathered in the "Star" social room during the lunch hour to-day to congratulate him on his selection as a member of the New Zealand Rugby League team which leave* for England on July 27, and to make two presentations.
Mr. E. Aldridge, on behalf of employees of New Zealand Newspapers, presented Mr. Mclnnarney with a complete outfit for evening wear, and in doing so said that his fellow workers felt proud of him, seeing that, he wn« th e first footballer of the etaff ever to be chosen as an overseas representative. The best wishes of all would be with him on the tour.
Mr. W. Groves presented Mr. McInnarney with a dressing ca«c on behalf of the "Star" Social Club and endorsed the remarks of Mr. Aldridge.
