In Arizona, U.S.A., tliere is a curioue eminence, called Coon Butte, which rises about loOft above the plain. At 'he top is a depression, or crater, 4000 ft wide and about 150 ft deep. Scattered far and wide around the hill are fragments resembling meteoric iron, which eontain microscopic diamonds and many curiously ehaped boulders.
