A Group From Feilding
This is a group of men who left Feilding with the 18th Reinforcements. It was taken during the voyage and is an interesting souvenir. On the reverse side of the original postcard is a short note from the sender, but the heavy black pencil of the censor seems to have been at work—an interesting link with the past. There were many men from Feilding way, of course, who served, but a reader thinks not many were taken together as here shown. Names are Back row (from left) :P. White, H. Murray, H. Bartholomew, W. B. Bruce, P. Nesbit. Middle row: Sergeant W. Burnett, Lieutenant Murch, Chaplain Captain R. Watson, H. Fraser. Front row: White, P. Egan. <S> <§>
