GOOD RESPONSE.

CENTENNIAL FUND. TOTAL NEARS £17,000. FURTHER CONTRIBUTIONS. Further contributions during the week to the Mayor's Centennial Fond have brought the total amount dose to the £17,000 mark. Many of the contributions have been in small amounts, which shows that the appeal is being answered by a huge section of the community. The list of additional donations is as follows:—
