Mr. P. K. Paikea. M.P., arrived from Wellington by train yesterday. Mr. J. P. O'Connor returned to Auckland yesterday from Wellington. The Hon. Sir Apirana Xgata, M.P., arrived yesterday from Wellington. Mr. C. H. Drysdale will leave for Wellington by the Limited express to-mor-row evening. Captain C. E. Weir. X.Z.K.A.. adjutant of the Anti-Aircraft Croup, Auckland, is at present visiting Hamilton. Mr. H. Gatty, of the Pan-American Airways, arrived from Wellington by this morning's Limited express. Dr. W. I.' Cawkwell will sail from Wellington next week for London to pursue post -graduate medical studies. Paymaster-Commander O. L. O. Davis, R.X., was a passenger from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Captain C. A. Pilcher, of Auckland, recruiting officer for the northern military district, is on a visit to Hamilton. Mr. J. Sawers, district traffic manager of railways at Auckland, left last evening for Wellington by the Limited express. Major G. H. Clifton is visiting the Waikato and will return to Wellington on Monday night. Major Clifton is secretary of the Army Recruiting Committee. Messrs. W. P. Endean, F. W. Schramm. W. J, Lyon, J. A. Lee, A. G. Osborne and A. S. Kichnrds, M.P.'s were passengers from Wellington by the Limited express this morning The fiev. Father E. Davids, of the Cook Islands, left last evening for liarotonga in the Matua. Father Davids has been visiting New Zealand after spending a holiday in Holland.
Mr. A. G. Hill, Air Department, has arrived nfr Auckland and has been staying at the Esplanade Hotel. Mr. Hill "is on transfer from the Air Ministry, London, and will be the control officer of the Tasnian air service. He returned to Wellington by air to-day.
