LONDON, July 9. ~ . re " Ch milit . ar y experts estimate tnat Germany is calling up an additional 400,000 men. Notices appeared throughout Germany yesterday summoning the 1900 1007, 1910-12 and to 1920 Armv classes' for examination.
Nazi spokesmen declare that onlv a I®"' tl >°»*and men will be affected, and that the calling-up is normal. Close observers, however, point out that a number of mobilisations have been reported, but there have been no reports of demobilisation.
Some estimates put the number of men under arms in Germany at more than 1,000,000.
