REVISION WANTED. THE TOUR OF BRITAIN. .REARRANGEMENT POSSIBLE. "I he approaching tour of Great Britain by the New Zealand League team was further discussed at a meeting of the New Zealand Kugby last evening, when the president, Mr. J. A. Redwood, said that rearrangement of the itinerary wajs possible.

The secretary, Mr. W. O. Carlaw, said that owing to the ,bad weather in New Zealand during the past week it was possible that the sailing of the Rangitiki might be delayed, and it had been decided to ask the English League either to abandon the opening match against the St. Helens Club on September 2, or delay it to September 6. Gabled advice was now awaited.

Exception to the method of selection of the North Island team was taken by a deputation from the South Auckland League, which stated that the Xew Zealand selectors had not seen the South Auckland team play and that no official was present at Wellington to see the trial Same played there. The deputation named a forward who should -have commanded attention, and said that the South Auckland team was prepared to pay its expenses to play in Auckland next Tuesday.

Mr. Redwood said that every consideration had been given to the South Auckland team. It was still possible to call up South Auckland players for the trial match next Tuesday, but he considered that the match suggested should not be held unless the selectors thought otherwise.

The Wellington League suggested that an exhibition match should be played at Wellington before the New Zealand team sailed. Mr. Redwood said that the cost was not worth while and the risk of accident was too creat.

Mr. R. A. Drury, one of the officials of the Canterbury Rugby League, was welcomed. and spoke on the progress of tile code there.

The following captains were appointed for the trial matches to-morrow:—North Island, W. Tittleton; South Island, Rex King; Possibles, J. Smith; Probables, R. Banham.
