JUNIOR CONTROL BOARD. The fact that It was the desire of the '.Auckland Rugby League that all junior players should parade at Carlaw Pqrk on July L"J to farewell the N'ew Zealand team, wfiicli will tour England and France, was mentioned at last evening's meeting of the junior control board. Congratulation?' were extended to the Otaliiihu and Richmond flubs, on winning the senior B and seventh grade compefitions respectively.. It was tlecided that the senior B and seventh grade knock-out competitions would consist of one round, games to be played on neutral grounds. The visit of the Pukemiro third grade club on Saturday week was discussed and arrangements were completed.. The third grade game between City and Manukau, which wan postponed last week, will be playevl later if it rhas any bearing on the championship. The Auckland Rugby League advisAl that, only injured players on the insurance list would be admitted free to Carlaw Park when their club teams were engaged. • E. Tredrea applied for regrading from Newton senior reserves to third grade. The matter was referred to the Auckland League. D. Hutchinson was granted regaridng from City senior B to tliinl grade B. L. Whiteside, who was recently ordered off, appeared before the board, which administered # severe caution.
